| Kick Ass Map for World of Warcraft is a 3rd party program that can run along side WoW while you are playing. The map not only shows you a wider view of the world around you. It also shows you much more detailed information. Without boring you with a bunch of details lets just show some screenshots and videos of the map in action. |

| Kick Ass Map can give you a much wider view of the area around you. The map above is actually the same area as the two other map pictures above. It's just zoomed way out. As you can see it is excellent at showing you the land around you. Also if you look closely you'll see that it even shows undeveloped areas that players are not intended to be at. |

| While playing you come across an Undead Mage, You are a Human Warrior. No sweat though. You already knew he was here before he even saw you. You also knew he was the opposing faction, the fact that he is a mage and that he is 7 levels below you. How do you know this? The map tells you. |

| From the map above you know all of this information. In fact there are alerts built in that let you know if another player has targeted you or is attacking you. Hell it will even alert you if he is PvP enabled. If this happens the map will highlight the character on the map as well as send an audible alert. |
| Lets take a look at some videos now. If you are on dial-up skip these videos as they are large in size. In this first video the character is in the same area as the picture above. It shows the character running around a little. Attacking a turtle (Notice it's health status). Killing him (Notice his color on the map changes when dead). Then skinning him (He vanishes). Don't mind the choppiness of the video. It's due the software used to record this. The actual map looks much better and is very smooth flowing. |
| The second video is fun. The Darkmoon faire has a cannon at the side of it. lets see what happened if we used it. It shoots you across the forest! If you looked at that video then check out the associated map video. As you fly over you can see all of the hostile creatures below. They are the Murlocks outside of Goldshire. Here are two more example videos of flying: Zoomed out and Long flight. |
| In the final two videos we show you how versatile the map is. Here is video of the map zooming in and out on the fly. Also a run through of most of the options currently available for the map. You can set what alerts you want to hear, the colors of just about everything that is detectable in the game and more. As you can see this map offers much more information than what you can normally see in the game. This map has many more features. |
- Detailed locations of harvestable items such as herbs, ore, treasure chests and even junk / quest objects.
- Notification and display of other players, their class, level and PvP status.
- Display of creatures, hostile and non hostile monsters, NPCs locations and names.
- A much greater view of all cities such as Stormwind, Ironforge, The Undercity, Darnassas, Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff and may more locations.
